After the 2026 Students graduate in Oct.,
we will list the 2027 dates in November for the 2027 Year.

“Life Close to Nature” Community Herbalist Course– One Saturday a month, 10am-4pm, March thru October, bring your simple lunch. Only 15 spots a year, so sign up today! A Foundations Plus Course, Judy Green and I will be sharing the knowledge from our own years of training and the past 7 years of teaching this Course. When you finish the Course, you will have studied over 150 Herbs and feel comfortable growing and using these Medicinal Plants…you will have knowledge & confidence! We will immerse ourselves in Herbalism each and every class, also working on basic Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology and sharing how to create: Kombucha, Bone Broth (we have a vegan version), Sauerkraut and more! You will learn a few organic gardening principles and how to identify the wild edibles and medicinal’s growing right on your property!
We include a foraging Weed Walk every Session!

Cost: $1200.00 ( 8 – 6 hour sessions ) This cost includes all supplies except the alcohol you will need to make tinctures. We will be creating 2-3 items each month, sometimes more, to take home to begin your own home apothecary. You will be added to a closed Facebook Group and a Group Email list too…this is how we keep in touch. You will also have access to our FREE Online Platform on the Mighty Networks…there you will find a private group for the Farm Herbalists, and lots of other info & perks too. If you do miss a session, you will still receive all the handouts and items created that day. You need to attend at least 6 of the 8 sessions to Graduate this Community Herbalist Course. Contact me to get on the list for 2026. You will receive a complete notebook during this course for you to cherish & refer to forever. You will receive a Certificate of Completion, sign the barn and paint a spirit brick that will be placed at the Farm as a remembrance to your time here…a little bit of your spirit will always be at the Farm!
